  1. HE WISHES FOR THE CLOTHS OF HEAVEN

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths
enwrought with golden and silver light,
the blue and the dim and the dark cloths
of night and light and the half light
I would spread these cloths under your feet,
but I, being poor, have only my dreams.
I have spread my dreams under your feet.
Tread softly because you read on my dreams.

  2. Those figures with the head cut off make me focus on the body, which I guess is the point of the pictures.

  5. Living the dream can involve conflict. D. H. Lawrence said:

Do you think it is easy to change?
Ah, it is very hard to change and be different.
It means passing through the waters of oblivion.
